ABOUT US
The Vancouver Secondary Schools Athletic Association (VSSAA) is made up of the 18 secondary schools that are part of the Vancouver School Board.
The VSSAA is responsible for all extra curricular leagues for grade 8 -12 students in Vancouver. We organize leagues in sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball and badminton to name just a few.
Members of the VSSAA have a long tradition of supporting athletics at their elementary feeder schools through hosting games and championships, providing student coaches/referees and skill development opportunities.

The V.S.S.A.A. came into being in 1969 when the Vancouver and District split into 4 geographic athletic associations. Organized athletics in Vancouver dates back to the early 1900s. Much has changed since our inception but we still maintain a strong commitment to the delivery of sport and athletics for the students in Vancouver.
